Adventigo Activities Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for activities booked through Adventigo.in.
1. Our Role as a Booking Engine
Adventigo.in is an online booking platform (booking engine) that aggregates tourism and adventure activities offered by independent third‑party operators in the Andaman Islands and beyond.
When you make a booking on Adventigo.in, your contract for the actual activity is with the respective third‑party operator, not with Adventigo. Adventigo facilitates discovery, booking, payment collection, and coordination between you and the operator.
Each activity may have its own cancellation and refund rules as defined by the operator. Those activity‑specific terms apply first, along with the general rules in this policy.
2. Generic Cancellation & Refund Rules (All Activities)
Unless stricter rules are shown on a specific activity page or on your voucher, the following generic policy applies:
- How to cancel
- Submit cancellation requests only through any of these official channels:
- Your Adventigo booking panel, or
- Email using the contact shared in your booking confirmation, or
- Official Adventigo WhatsApp number mentioned on your voucher.
- Standard customer cancellation window
- Cancel 72 hours or more before the activity start time:
- 80% refund of the total booking amount.
- 5% administrative/processing fee is deducted.
- Cancel less than 72 hours before the activity start time:
- No refund.
- No‑show
- If you fail to report at the specified time and location, or you arrive too late to join the activity, it is treated as a no‑show and no refund will be provided.
- Operator / safety / weather cancellations
- If the operator or Adventigo cancels or significantly alters the activity because of bad weather, safety concerns, technical issues, or government/regulatory orders, you will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- One free reschedule of the same or a similar activity (subject to availability).
- Force majeure
- For events beyond reasonable control (e.g., cyclones, natural disasters, strikes, sudden government orders), you may receive a full refund or be offered a reschedule/credit for a future date, depending on what is operationally possible.
- Medical exceptions
- In genuine medical emergencies, you may request a discretionary refund by submitting a valid medical certificate and supporting documents before the activity start time.
- Approved medical exceptions will still attract an administrative fee of 5–10% of the booking amount.
- Partial / shortened trips
- If an activity has already started and is cut short or partially completed due to safety or weather, a pro‑rata refund or credit may be considered for unused components.
- No refund is applicable if you choose to end the activity early for personal reasons when there is no safety or operational issue.
- Refund method & timelines
- Approved refunds will be processed only to the original payment method used at the time of booking (card, UPI, wallet, etc.).
- Please allow 7–15 business days for the amount to reflect in your account; actual time depends on your bank/payment provider.
- Any payment gateway/bank charges, convenience fees, or currency conversion charges are non‑refundable.
- Non‑refundable components
- Certain cost components such as government permits, forest fees, national park fees, ferry tickets, and other government/authority charges may be non‑refundable regardless of the cancellation time.
- Where applicable, the non‑refundable nature of such charges will be mentioned on the activity page and/or in your voucher, and these amounts will not be refunded even if the rest of the booking qualifies for a refund.
3. High‑Season & Special Activity Rules (Oct–Mar)
Some resource‑intensive, permit‑based, or limited‑capacity activities have stricter cancellation rules during the busy season from October to March.
During this period, the special rules below override the generic policy for those particular activities.
On the Adventigo website and app, these activities will be clearly tagged with labels such as “High‑Season Non‑Refundable” or “Strict Cancellation Policy” during the applicable dates.

4. Activity‑Wise Cancellation Labels
Each activity listed on Adventigo.in can carry one of several cancellation types, such as:
- Free cancellation until X hours/days before the start time.
- Partial refund (e.g., percentage refund) until a given cut‑off time.
- Non‑refundable (no refund once booked).
These labels and detailed conditions are set by the underlying operator and are displayed on:
- The activity/product detail page.
- The booking summary at checkout.
- The booking confirmation and voucher.
If there is any conflict between this master policy and the activity‑specific policy shown on the listing or voucher, the activity‑specific policy will apply first, followed by this master policy where compatible.
By completing a booking on Adventigo.in, you confirm that you have read and accepted the cancellation and refund terms displayed on the activity page, at checkout, and in this policy.
5. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To ensure proper tracking and coordination with operators, please follow this process:
- Find your booking details
- Open your Adventigo booking confirmation email or log in to your Adventigo account.
- Note your Booking ID, activity name, date, and number of guests.
- Submit your request through official channels
- Use the cancellation option in your booking panel (where available), or
- Email our support team with subject “Cancellation Request – [Booking ID]”, or
- Message the official Adventigo WhatsApp number mentioned on your voucher.
- Wait for confirmation
- Adventigo will check the applicable policy, coordinate with the operator, and confirm if a refund or reschedule is possible.
- A cancellation is considered accepted only after you receive written confirmation (email or WhatsApp) from Adventigo clearly stating the status and amount.
- Refund processing
- Once approved, the refund will be initiated to your original payment method.
- Refund timelines typically range from 7–15 business days, depending on bank/payment gateway.
6. Important Disclaimers
- Adventigo.in is an intermediary platform and does not own or operate the activities listed. All services are provided by independent third‑party operators.
- All activities are subject to local regulations, permits, weather conditions, safety assessments, and operational constraints, which may result in last‑minute changes or cancellations.
- The operator’s decision on safety, eligibility (age, health, weight, etc.), and execution of the activity is final. Guests who are found ineligible on medical/safety grounds may be denied participation as per the operator’s judgment.
- Adventigo reserves the right to decline, modify, or cancel a booking and process a refund or credit, where appropriate, in line with this policy and the operator’s terms.
- Adventigo is not responsible for any incidental expenses, such as travel costs, hotel bookings, or other arrangements made by you in connection with the activity.
7. Activity‑Specific Blurbs
In addition to this master policy, each activity page (such as scuba diving, sea walk, parasailing, jet ski, glass‑bottom boat, kayaking, island hopping, game fishing, Barren Island, cruises and events) will display a short “Cancellation & Refund” section summarizing the key rules for that specific activity.
Those short blurbs are part of the terms of your booking and should be read together with this master policy.
